A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Tyson K. Brown is a first-generation philanthropist, motivational speaker and consultant, and public servant. A graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, he is the Executive Producer of Character Over Calling: The Podcast and a Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Tyson has led Project OneWay in securing contracts with municipalities, private-sector corporations, and community organizations to consult and facilitate discussions on 'Bridging Generational Gaps' in shared spaces. He works closely with local government and city officials to create economically equitable opportunities that make Columbia 'not only a place that you can grow up, but a place that you can grow old,' and volunteers as an Executive Committee Member of the Richland County Library System's Board of Trustees.
